DCA – Derivi Castellanos Architects is thrilled to have been a part of the modernization project at Earl Le Gette Elementary School in Fair Oaks! The ribbon cutting ceremony on March 21 marked a significant milestone in the school’s history as it unveiled its newly revamped campus to the community. From the multipurpose room and amphitheater to the renovated classroom wings and walkways, the transformation was truly remarkable.
Principal Greg Barge highlighted the importance of preserving the school’s legacy by providing students with top-notch facilities for learning and growth. San Juan Unified School Board President Pam Costa shared the rich history of LeGette, emphasizing the enduring impact it will have on future generations. Sixth-grade student council president, Avery Hammons, spoke passionately about how the upgrades have enhanced the daily experiences of students at the school.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude Frank Camarda, Nic Arps, and Josh Jacobson from San Juan Unified School District, Flint Construction, Kitchell Construction Management, the Fair Oaks community and all the other partners involved in making this project a success.
