Derivi Castellanos Architects (DCA) is excited to announce Wes Eckhart’s promotion to Sr. Project Manager! Wes joined DCA in 2016 as a Designer. Since then, he was promoted to Project Manager and now to Sr. Project Manager. Two of his notable accomplishments include Albany Unified School District’s $42 million new Ocean View Elementary School and $38 million new Marin Elementary School (both CHPS-Verified school projects). The Ocean View Elementary School project was completed successfully during the COVID-19 Pandemic, despite supply chain issues and challenges with construction staffing. Marin Elementary School is currently under construction and Wes is ensuring it will be completed on schedule and on budget, while also meeting the needs of the community.
Wes always brings his A-game, whether he’s collaborating with DCA staff, working with clients or leading drills for Argonaut High School’s football team (the 2021 CA Division 6 State Champion) in Jackson, CA. He enjoys time with his family, which includes his daughter, three sons and three grandchildren. Once a collegiate baseball player, he continues to be active with his kids’ sports and with Argonaut High School’s football program, where he serves as the Assistant Football Coach. Go Mustangs!
