Celebrating New Beginnings at John C. Fremont Elementary with Ribbon Cutting

On May 14, 2024, John C. Fremont Elementary School in Modesto, California, celebrated significant campus upgrades with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This milestone event highlighted the completion of major improvements designed to enhance safety and operational efficiency. The school now features a new multipurpose room and administration building, as well as improved streetscapes, parking facilities, and a redesigned drop-off area. These additions aim to improve traffic flow and create a safer, more inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Sara Noguchi, Ed.D, the Superintendent of Modesto City Schools, expressed her appreciation to all partners and contributors who had a hand in realizing these enhancements. Special recognition was given to DCA – Derivi Castellanos Architects and the Acme Construction team for their critical roles and expertise in executing the school’s vision. This project reached completion thanks to the support of Modesto’s residents, who passed Measures D and E in 2018.

We cherish the strong partnership we’ve built with Modesto City Schools and look forward to continuing our joint efforts to enhance the educational landscape for future generations.
