North Salinas High School Celebrates Groundbreaking of Modern Two-Story Building

On May 20, 2024, DCA had the honor of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for North Salinas High School’s new two-story classroom and admin building. This project marks the beginning of an effort to provide 21st century classrooms and site improvements for the school. A heartfelt thanks goes out to the voters who supported this initiative by passing Measure B and Proposition 51. Superintendent Burns hosted the event, offering an overview of the project and acknowledging the many partners who collaborated to make this vision a reality.

Ramon Gomez, principal architect for DCA, also spoke at the ceremony. He expressed his gratitude to Superintendent Burns, Anna Aguillon, CBO, and the Salinas Union High School District Board for the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful project. Special thanks were extended to Dr. White, the principal of North Salinas High School, and his dedicated staff for their vision and guidance throughout the design process. Ramon highlighted the exceptional collaboration and positivity of the North Salinas High School team.

We are thrilled to be working alongside great partners at Salinas Union High School District, Otto Construction, and JL Modular, to bring this vision to life. Together we are creating lasting memories for the students and the community of Salinas for generations to come.
